5 Party Ideas // Non house-party options

Hey Guys!

Today I'm going to talk to you about party ideas!

Hosting a party can be huge deal, especially if you are a teenager like me. The obvious one is a house party, but there is the problem of good music, making sure everyone is having a good time, nice food, embarrassing parents plus masses of clearing up afterwards. If you definitely don't want to take this route, I've got some good ideas for you to still make your birthday special...

1// Going Out for a Meal

This one could be a little pricy but there are plenty of great places with amazing prices (and always have a deal on anyway). Choose a few friends (two or three) and go out for lunch. Places like Nando's and Ed's Easy Diner are great for low key birthdays and they are slightly cheaper than bigger restaurants. I also know for a fact that Ed's Easy Diner do a membership called "Ed's club" where there are always amazing offers (like when you join you get a free burger or hot dog with any drink).

2// Pizza and a Movie

This is a classic birthday bash idea, you just can't go wrong with pizza! Although this might seem a little bog standard at first, you can plan this so that its very exciting! I always love to watch a soppy RomCom with my girlfriends, so just add some other things to do such as Xbox tournaments or a sport (if its warm enough outside).

3// Sophisticated British Garden Party

This one works best in the summer months. Invite as many friends as you like for an afternoon, plan the whole thing outside, serve typical British finger food and also mocktails (or something stronger if you're of age!). You can play tennis or badminton and just have a good natter with your mates. For food, a barbecue works best with summer pudding or similar for dessert.

4// Day Trip

Remember when you were a little kid and you would take your whole primary class to the swimming pool and then have party food in the little back room? Well there is no reason you can't do that now! Take a few friends on a day trip to the beach, swimming pool, trampoline park or ice rink and then back to yours for food. A girls day is always the best day to spend a birthday in my opinion.

5// A Pamper Party

If you and your friends are into beauty, this would be perfect! For a reasonable price, a beautician will come to your house and do all your friends nails and give you all facials etc. You could even do this yourself if you wanted! You could go the extra mile and get robes and serve chocolate dipped strawberries and/ or smoothies for a super realistic salon experience.

Well that's it! I hope there is an option for everyone here! I will be uploading again on Wednesday! It will probably be a skincare post!

Love,
Me ♥
